Testimonials
My substance misuse started through the party scene. I started using at parties just to have some fun and to be a part of the cool crowd. I never thought that it was something that would become any kind of problem, let alone an addiction. However, addiction is cunning and unforgiving. Soon this disease had my life spiraling out of control making it unmanageable, unbearable and eventually unlivable. When you are suffering from addiction you suffer alone. The pain that I endured throughout the peak of my substance misuse is of the worst emotional pain that I have ever felt. I told lies to both myself and to others. I had a total disregard for family and friends who loved and cared for me, and lost the respect of my son’s and other important family members. I experienced financial losses, employment losses, and eventually ended up in prison. When I was released and started my counselling sessions with Crystal I soon discovered that she had a passion to help people like myself. She taught me about the patterns and the behaviors surrounding my addiction, guided me through the difficult task of looking honestly at myself, and aided me in and exploring the underlying issues such as trauma that contributed to my substance misuse, in a safe and non-judgmental atmosphere. After having Crystal as a counselor I feel that I have the necessary resources and tools for me to succeed.
Today I have experienced a complete change in the way I think, believe, and behave. My life has transformed with the help of Crystal’s counselling. Spiritually and emotionally I am a new person who no longer has the obsession or desire to use. I now have the knowledge to grow and flourish thanks to the counselling I have received. I am so grateful to Crystal.
If you or someone you love needs help, I strongly recommend Crystal for all your counselling needs.”
Having personally seen the positive and effective impact Crystal’s counselling has had on many individuals, it is without any shadow of a doubt that I would recommend anyone who is suffering from addiction to her counselling services.”
